This summer of ours is beginning to really wear me down ... and it's been a real challenge getting on the bike over the last couple of weeks. With 8 weeks to go - this is NOT good - but the relentless rain has been a real deterrent!
Here I sit in another downpour - wondering if Murray's semi-final will even get played today - and i'm finding it so easy to do anything but get on the bike...
I had a long chat with the 'Oracle' last night and now skipping is being introduced into my life (... don't think i've skipped since i was at prep. school!) ... will let you know how i get on if the rain ever pauses .... skipping in the rain is just so wrong! And kettle-bell as well.... diversity he says will speed up the fitness and get me more excited.
As is sit looking out at the sheeting down rain .... i wonder if i'll ever feel excited again!
